Job Description

BASIC JOB FUNCTION

Attends and patrols assigned parking area. Is responsible for assisting NYBG Security staff in directing the parking on Garden grounds of all guests, employees, and vendors. Maintains order in the area of assignment and assists in the detection of trespassers and disorderly people by reporting such activity to the Patrol Supervisor and Security Management on duty immediately.

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enforces the parking rules and regulations of the New York Botanical Garden.
• Direct parking in approved parking locations as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates must posses and maintain a valid New York State Driver’s License.
• In possession of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and work in all types of weather.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Must be able to work holidays and weekends.

RATE

• $18 Per Hour
